Nagymadár Charity Camp for Kids

“This is the worlds best camp!” -said one of the participant who is one of the 15 handicapped children, who took part in the Charity Camp for kids of Anima Association . Within the framework of this 4-day long camp the children could participate in activities such as hiking, a walk in Pákozd Arboretum, swimming in Lake Velencei, horseback-riding at Nyerítő Lovasudvar and last but not least, a night courage test. On the last night at the farewell party it was not only the participating children the organizerswho could all enjoy the traditional live gypsy music which was offered to us from Sárbogárd, but also the sponsors as a lot of people contributed to the camp either with different donations or by voluntary work. The children really enjoyed the time they spent there and they made a lot of friends. Solymi (Sólyom Beatrix) camp leader found a way into the hearts of many children, often clusters of kids were hanging on her. At the farewell, a few people cried as they didn’t want to go home, but they were comforted by the hope that the camp will continue next year.
